On the steps of Prince Charles
On this tour you will experience fortified Saxon villages set in the beautiful Transylvanian landscape. Prince Charles often visits this area and is known to enjoy the beauty of the Saxon villages.
Sighisoara
As part of the tour, you will visit Sighisoara a famous UNESCO Citadel, the only real fortress still found in Europe. You will experience Gingerbread Houses and forests that team with all sorts of wildlife.
Wine Tasting
Did you know they made white wine in Transylvania? When we spoke with Gabriel, we found out that wine was made in the region. In Sibu you will discover the old town and visit the local vineyards where you will have lunch and you will be able to taste a variety of wines.
Sibu Walking Tour
Sibu is known for its gastronomy, it was the European Capital of Culture in 2007. The walking tour spends two hours walking around the old town exploring famous local landmarks, the first art museum including the liars bridge and churches that have centuries of history. You have the choice to stop for lunch at one of its famous gastronomy restaurants before carrying on with the tour.
Padurea Craiului Mountains
For the more adventurous, Beyond Romania Travel also offer a 7-night full board tour, where you will be hiking in the Carpathian Mountains.
You will spend 8 days exploring Monasteries, staying in cabins, and visiting the highest peaks in the Romanian Carpathians, you will see the road that touches the sky. This is a strenuous hike and demands that you will be fit and healthy as there is a lot of walking involved.
